Viva Las Vegas

So Spencer had a conference for his work in Las Vegas so naturally I wanted to tag along. On Monday we dropped off Clay at Grammy's and Grandpa's house than flew out on Tuesday morning. I was pretty excited to get rejuvenated and relax by the pool. Spencer had meetings all day on Wednesday and Thursday so I would only have to be alone during the day....so I thought. Once we checked into the MGM Grand, he received his schedule and saw that he had meetings on Tuesday, so we weren't able to hang out together. Than on Wednesday and Thursdays he had meeting from 7am to 10:30pm. Talk about an intense conference. So it wasn't what I thought, that we could hang out in the evenings.

It wasn't that bad though, I went to the Bodies Exhibition, which was amazing to see. I loved all of it. Our bodies are amazing. I sat by the pool and read my book, I watched movies and of course took some naps.

Friday we met up with Spencer's parents who drove up from California. We had a lot of fun with them. It's always good to see family like this. We went to see Robin Hood and Iron Man 2, both really good movies. We ate at a fancy Chinese restaurant, a pizza place that was awarded the best pizza in Las Vegas in March. On Saturday we went and did a session at the temple, which is always a wonderful experience. It is so wonderful that we can go to a place that give so much peace and comfort and how you can leave this chaotic world at the doors.

It was sad to leave Mike and Cherie but boy was I ready to see y little man. Its amazing how you leave to have some time alone from your kids but on the first day you miss them so much. I have not been away from The Clays that long before and I was ready to see him.

It was a nice vacation....I'm ready for another one.
