Clay has found his thumb! I know...I'm a little nervous about it. I have tried getting him to suck on his binky but he likes his fingers more. Today I heard him sucking on his fingers(which is a cute sound), so I decided to watch him go through the process of finding his thumb and I took pictures along the way. First he tries to put both hands in his mouth.
Than figures he can only fit one in and works at that for a while...
He eventually gets down to only two fingers, his index finger and his thumb...
Finally after a good five minutes he finds his thumb and goes to town sucking on it.

Clayton had his 2 month check up today. Everything looks great, he's head is in the 86%, length is 23.9 inches in the 88%, and he weighs 13.9 lb in the 87%. So as you can see our little man is growing big and strong. Everything was going well... until his shots. I didn't realize how long those needles are for those little babies. He has never cried that hard and long before. I felt so bad, there he was crying in my arms looking up at me and there was nothing I could do. I tried some tips that some other moms gave me but he wasn't interested. Finally after about 15 minutes he calmed down and fell right asleep on the way home. What a traumatic experience that was for the both of us.
