Clay has found his thumb! I know...I'm a little nervous about it. I have tried getting him to suck on his b
inky but he likes his fingers more. Today I heard him sucking on his fingers(which is a cute sound), so I decided to watch him go through the process of finding his thumb and I took pictures along the way.
First he tries to put both hands in his mouth.
Than figures he can only fit one in and works at that for a while...
He eventually gets down to only two fingers, his index finger and his thumb...
Finally after a good five minutes he finds his thumb and goes to town sucking on it.

what a little sweetie! my mom always said that babies that could find their thumbs are the best kind...it's all about self soothing! cute pics
That is so cute. My sister's little boy sucked his thumb and he was so happy. That's great he's finding ways to soothe himself. (At 2 years old he stopped by himself but I hear that doesn't always happen). What a cutie!
He's gotten so big. I love his chubby little wrists. So cute.
