Easter Weekend

I get so excited when Easter comes for a couple of reasons. One, its the beginning of spring with new blossoms on trees and flowers, birds chirping, the grass is green. Everything is rejuvenated and ready for this next season. Its a great feeling of freshness. (although we did wake up to a couple of inches of snow which melted by noon today). Second, there are a lot of traditions we do that I absolutely love and always look forward to. Third and most important, its a time to reflect on our Savior Jesus Christ and His Resurrection.
This Year we all gathered at my parents house in Tooele. They had 12 inches of snow the day before so we couldn't roll our eggs down the hill. We had our egg hunt inside which was really fun. The kids had a blast and we ate good food and enjoyed each others company.
Clay loved finding the eggs and putting them in his basketball basket.
Notice the scabs on his nose and under his nose? He took a big fall of a curb the night before that he didn't see was there.

All the kids after the egg hunt

Clay opening the egg to find some candy, boy was he surprised.

The kids popping bubbles outside. Clay could do that all day if I would let him.

Little Lexi loved Clay's basket for some reason, She kept holding it like a purse everywhere she went.

Sunday morning I made Clay some bunny pancakes with strawberries and orange juice. Of course he didn't know what it was, it was more for me thinking I'm a fun mom I guess. Clay received his Easter basket full of fun toys and a couple of little candies. We watched General Conference and took a nap. Spencer cousin came over for the afternoon session and enjoyed an Easter dinner with us.
I know it doesn't really look like a bunny, I tried though.

Clay just gets cuter and cuter. What do you do to your pics. I can't enlarge them. I have a big screen but I still want to see him up close. And then the one pic I can click on is your neice in front of the piano .. The only upside to that is that if you zoom in you can see you with your doll picture. So worth it.
