So today was the first day that So You Think You Can Dance tickets went on sale. I have been an avid watcher for 4 seasons and this will be the first time I will be going to their dance concert in November. This is the one show that I never miss, except when our DVR went out ( boy was I depressed that night). I never was a dancer but have always loved to watch dancing. In high school, when we would have assembles, we usually had our dancers do a routine for us and I really think that was my favorite part of the assembles. I have such respect for people who dance, they can be so graceful, amazing and just good at what they do. One time my dad asked me if I wished they would have put me in dance when I was little instead of softball. I told him that I think dance would have been a lot of fun, but I probably would have hated it when I was little because I was very much a tomboy, all I wanted to be like was my brothers. They would have had a heck of a time getting me to go.
I think dance can make you feel so many emotions; relaxed, calm, happy, angry and sad. For all you fans of the show I think you know what I'm trying to say. Did you watch Tyce's breast cancer routine? That was amazing and very emotional. I didn't cry, but I did feel the power of it.
Anyways, on and on I go about this show. I finally purchased my tickets after an hour and half of waiting and redoing the whole ordering process about 4 times. I'm so excited to go with my sister in laws who are also big fans. Only 3 1/2 more months to go.
