A Candle Light Christmas

On Monday we went to Heritage Park for the Candle Light Christmas activity. Some of my family came and we had a lot of fun. Of course we picked one of the coldest nights to go, it was probably 10 or 15 degrees.
The park had a lot of things to do and look at. They had crafts for the kids to do including making an ornament. There was a live nativity with a live camel even. Santa was there and the kids wrote him a letter and had a picture with him. We learned a dance at the school house and rode a train up and down the park to see the decorative lights.
There were other things to do but we stayed 15 minutes too long, the kids were having a break down on the train ride back, that was our sign to leave. Even though it was really cold we still had a great time. hopefully this will become a tradition in our family.
