Clay and I flew down to California to see the boat parade in New Port Beach with Spencer's family. Of course the day we wanted to go it was raining but fortunately it wasn't the next day. Only Cherie and I were able to go on Thursday though. There were some pretty amazing boats with loads of lights and some other boats with only one strand of lights, it was pretty sad to see, I mean its a parade to show off your countless lights not your 50 count lights. come on boat people. It was pretty neat but probably no worth the flight down. It was fun spending time with the family before we drove to Las Vegas to met everyone else, that was definitely worth the flight. Sorry, the picture of Cherie and I is blurry, that was like the third picture the lady tried to take, she couldn't figure out how to focus the camera even though I told here how. Oh well!

I agree with you that the parade was not worth the flight down, but seeing you and Clay for a few days was definitely worth it.
The boats you have pictures of are really pretty, hopefully they weren't the only pretty ones. That's cool that you and CHerie got to hang out. You have an awesome mother in law!
