I was laying in bed last night thinking of all the things that give me simple pleasure in my life. Some give me happiness, some make me laugh, and some warms my heart and soul;
1-When my husband tucks me in bed. Some of you probably don't see this side of Spencer, most of you just see, what Spencer likes to call "The Tait Male" side of him (those who know the Tait family knows what that means).
2-The way my little boy gets so excited to see me, he grabs my hair with both of his hands and pulls himself in to gives me the wettest loves ever.
3-I can look out my kitchen window and see the beautiful Rockie Mountains with the wonderful colors the trees are right now.
4-A fridge and cupboards full of food so I am able to cook for my family.
5-This may be silly to some, but the comments people give on my blog. To see that people care enough to write a little something, gives me simple pleasure.
6-The sweet taste of hot horchata my new favorite drink. For those who don't know what it is, its a Mexican drink made with almonds, cinnamon, rice and milk. Its Divine!
7-DVR... need I say more?
Those are just a few of the little things the Lord has blessed me with. The blessing of a husband who shows his love in the simplest ways, the blessing and opportunity to be a mother and to raise his children. The fiances, that gives us the ability to buy food so I'm able to fulfil my love for cooking and to have material pleasures such as DVR which I absolutely love. The blessings of family and friends who care for me and my family. When life seems to get me in the pits I try to think of the simple pleasures that I have in my life and it always brings me up.

"Tait pride" is I think what spencer refers to it as! I have seen this gentle side of spencer and he is a great hubby and and father to you and clay. It's always nice to think about the little things in life that we usually take for granted...I think I will do a little thinking of my own! we miss you kimmy!!

It was so great to read your blog. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. It made me reflect on my blessings. Spencer is very blessed to have such a wonderful wife and mother to his children. I try to remember the good things when life doesn't feel so good. It made me happy just reading that and sad that we don't get to see you guys more.

Ah, don't we know the 'Tait men' - I think it makes the sweetness that comes out just that much sweeter. i love all your little thoughts ... helps me to think of all those blessings that we shouldn't take for granted. Your little guy is getting soooo big!!
