A funny thing happened this morning. I was in the bathroom doing my grooming and fixing when I heard this tapping and squeaking. I just thought it was Clay chewing on something and banging it on the wall(he was in the other room). Anyways this kept going on for about 2-3 minutes. I finally went to go check on Clay and he was just sitting there smiling. I heard it again and it came from the front door. It sounded like a bird! So I looked out the peep hole( in order to do this I have to stand on a chair...so sad) and this Magpie bird was just standing on the door mat tapping on the door. I didn't want to open it, afraid the Magpie would want to come in and ATTACK ( thanks to the movie "The Birds"). I kept watching and I guess it got sick of waiting so it went across the way to the neighbors door and started to do the same thing, tapping and chirping. He did that for a while then walked away, yes walked away not flew away. I don't know anything about Magpies or any bird for that matter, but I thought it was pretty funny.

How weird is that. I wouldn't have opened the door either. Oh and the whole short thing is good. I think your hot! :0)
animals are so creepy. I have a squirrel that comes up to the sliding back window and puts its hands up and looks in. Weird.
Poor little hobo bird, all he wanted was a little food and some company!! That really is sad you have to get a chair to look out the peep hole!

what a weird bird! that's pretty funny. I wouldn't have opened the door either, and I have to use a chair/stool for the peephole too. Why don't they make them for SHORT PEOPLE!
