Clay's graduation was so great. They had a little program with songs and actions they did, than had a slide show of the year with refreshments. Than the 6th graders put on a carnival for them and the kindergartners. They had some fun games for them to play. Clay loved every moment of it. Clay actually went to school with all of the kids in his primary class so they know each other really well.
Spencer and I are so proud of Clay and how much he has grown this year. Especially with all the new change we had with two moves which means two new schools and a new house plus a new baby. We were so worried that he would have a hard time changing schools twice, but it didn't seem to make a difference. He is such a loving kid and he makes friends so easy. Everyone loves to play with him and he loves playing with others, but also needs some alone play time.
His speech has improved so much this year. He has worked hard with his speech teacher to meet his goals this year. Clay is so smart...only when he wants to be. I will work with him on reading words and sometimes he is fighting me and seems to have a hard time with reading or writing. I get frustrated because I know he knows it. Than the next week he will just whip them out like he has known them forever. I thought it was just with me that he does this, but his teachers has said this, too. Like I said he is so smart, but he can turn it off and on depending on his mood and if he wants to.
We love you Clay and the sweet loving boy you are growing up to be. You make our home exciting and fun. Thank you for making life interesting and teaching us and making us better parents. Love you more than tongue can tell.
