Unfortunately Clay got a hold of Spencer's phone where I had all our Christmas pictures and Ansley birthday photos on and somehow restarted and upgraded his phone and it deleted everything on it, so I don't have anything of our first Christmas in our house. My stomach hurts just typing this.
Anyways we had a great Christmas. We had our traditional candle light dinner with Honey baked ham. Spencer played his Christmas piano piece for us. We talked about the birth of Jesus, watch The Polar Express and drank crock pot hot coco while doing so. The kids had a great time and were so excited for Santa to come to our house. Christmas morning was magical. Clay gets more and more fun to watch each year. We just hung around the house that day and my parents came to visit and to see what Santa brought the kids.

Spencer's family came to visit a couple of days before New Years. We love having them visit. We had some fin things planned for the kids for a New Years party. We had balloons with papers in them for each half hour starting from 6:30-8:30. Each paper had an activity in it that they did for that half hour. We did silly string fights, balloon races and dancing, rice crispy and fruit kabobs making and eating, glow in the dark hide n' do seek in the basement, a scavenger hunt and for the count down...fireworks in the back yard. They kids and adults had fun with all the activity.
We had a lot of snow fall and the girls have never been sledding so I borrowed some snow clothes from my sweet sister in law and we went sledding. Rylin and Jordyn loved loved it. Clay liked it okay, but we had a couple of tip overs on the bottom of the hill and he was over it after that. Paytin doesn't like getting in the snow or sand for that matter. She just stood at the top of the hill and watched. Melinda did make her go down a couple of times but she was crying the whole time. She is a character. We had so much fun playing with them.
