Preschool and More

Clay has been accepted to the preschool at Vineyard Elementary. As most of you know, we had him evaluated for his speech and other areas. We knew he was very smart, he knows numbers and most letters and sounds, but is highly elevated in his defiance which can keep him from learning other things. So he is getting a head start in those areas at this preschool. The school year is almost over so he will only be going to it for about 5 days.

He was so excited to go to school with the other kids. I walked him to his classroom and right away the teacher and teacher aids greeted him by name and made him feel welcomed. I left with no problems from him, he could cared less that I was leaving. As I was walking to my car I felt a little sad that my little boy is going to preschool. I missed him those three hours, but enjoyed running errands with only one child.

When I picked him up he didn't want to leave, he absolutely loved it. The teacher said that he just jump right in and was participating with no problems, he was able to listen, obey and focus. Hopefully it will continue this way.

What a handsome boy.

He wanted me to take a picture of his back pack.

(this is his church bag, we will get him another one when he goes in the fall)

Others random pics

My first bouquet of freshly picked flowers from my sweet little man.

Like father like son. We definitely have another techno geek in the family.

We did this picture when Clay was about the same age, so I thought we should take one of Ansley, too.

We bought a play mat for Ansley. She loves it. When we first put it up Clay wanted to see the lights and hear the music so he climbed under there with her.

(sorry some pics aren't the best quality, I think its time for a new camera)

I didn't know he had started preschool already! I am so glad that he likes it. He is growing up quicly! I like the pic of Spencer and Clay both on the computer. I got a good laugh out of that. I remember that picture of Clay on Spencer's shoulders. That is a good idea to replicate the picture. Ansley is a doll. Love you all.
