One horrible, no good, very bad day

Clay had his 6 month check up today and it wasn't a very nice check up. I told the doctor that I was concerned that Clay would need another circumcision because the skin looked like it had grown back over the penis, which I tried to pull it back during every diaper change like they tell you too. So he looked at it and all he said was yeah it does look like it did and all of a sudden he pushed back that skin and it started to bleed a little and Clay got a look like "what just happened down there?" than started to cry uncontrollably. The doctor cleaned it up and I picked him up to comfort him. The doctor said that he usually doesn't do that but he needed to make sure that the skin wasn't suck because if it was he would have needed another circumcision. I'm glad he doesn't. Well Clay calmed down after a minute or so and we finished the check up. After he left the nurse came in short after to give him his shots. Now I'm not a very good mother because I had forgotten Tylenol to give to him after so of course he cried even worse than before and it took me a while to calm him down. I think because his penis was sore and his legs were hurting it just made everything worse. Besides that everything looks great. He weighs a little over 20 lbs and 29 inches long. He is a BIG healthy boy. He is my little Champ.

Kim, you don't know me but I am one of Spencers friends from Corona. Anyway, I totally empathize with you! My little guy EThan had the same thing happen to him and I thought it was so mean! I am so sorry you had to go through that. I don't wish that on any mom at all. Clay is just beautiful by the way. Tell Spencer I said hi!

Okay so I giggled at first.. up until the part where it started to bleed. D always had hard ons so the skin didn't have time to stick...hmmm wonder where he got that from..
Moms are always the bad guys at the docs office..

Oh my goodness! He weighs 20 lbs. Brighton just got her yearly check up and she weighs just under 18 pounds and is only like 27 inches long! He is six months younger and bigger! That is just crazy. At least he's a boy and she's a girl. It might be bad the other way around. Also they actually have to pull apart little girls down there sometimes too because their lips can get stuck together. it will also bleed. If that's any consolation! :(
