To Be Young Again
We went to my brother's home in Grantsville for the 4th of July. He had this big water slide blown up for the kids to play on and keep cool in. As you can see they had a blast. Meanwhile, the adults were standing around in the heat watching them, secretly wishing they could play on it(maybe it was just me... I don't know). Later that evening, Spencer and I went to go watch the fireworks from the Stadium of Fire. Of course every park, parking lot and street were packed within 2-3 miles of the stadium. We only watched for about 3/4 of the time before we headed home to beat the traffic. Well when we were walking into our apartment we realized that we could have just sat on a blanket outside our windows for a great view of the fireworks. What a waist of gas from driving around. Oh well!

I want to be young again! Kids have all the fun! Sorry about the whole stadium of fire thing. If it makes you feel better, we got stuck in the traffic last year and it took us almost an hour to get home. The spot that we were at, is maybe 10 mins away from our place. So lame!!
that water slide looks like so much fun! I totally would have been wishing I could jump in there.
Great pictures. We really did have fun on the 4th didn't we? We have the cutest grandkids ever!!
That waterslide is sweet. It looks like everyone had a great time. I would have loved to see the adults going down. Were Bri and Amiee there? It's fun to see out little "grandchildrens" parties if you may. I' can't beleive its gotten to that:)
Okay, we all need those slides in our backyards! :) What a blast!
I loved water slides when I was younger. I bet the kids had a blast!
fourth of july is so fun. We pulled out a slip and slide for the kids and I went down it. I think you are never too old!! As long as you can climb it you can do it, right?
That looks like so much fun. I want to do that for the fourth.
